Vorada Chatjirakal (Mie)
Born in 2001, Songkhla, Thailand
Lives and works in Bangkok

Vorada Chatjirakal (Mie) is a filmmaker as assistant co/creative -producer, casting, assistant casting/director and a director. In 2024, she directed a short film “บ่ม A Shitty Persimmon,” in which she aims to tell the story of her youth, the environment in which she grew up, and its connection to modern society, alongside the relationships around her. The film official selected finalist student film competition the Thai Short Film & Video Festival 2024, and has official selected screened at Microwave Film Festival 2025.

 

Particularly interested in issues of identity and relationship, driven by her personal experiences and a passion for societal diversity.
